Wes Dance for #Portraitsproject

Wes Dance my my first artist to shoot for #Portraitsproject this week and so I wanted to try something a little alternative to what he is used to for his imagery, playing slightly against his genre type.
Using one remotely triggered Speedlite to pop him out the back of a very dark and cold railway bridge tunnel, I balanced and controlled the shadows with one Metz continuous LED strobe.
The results are simple but pleasing enough, with added VSCO and Nik Collection filter effects to add a little grain, texture and vintage appeal to the finished pictures.
Finally I really wanted to test my new Orbis ring-flash and with its almost shadow cancelling effect, pop Wes out from the wall and opt for a metallic monochrome version in contrast to the happier vintage expression..If you are interest in getting involved, please contact me here or on Facebook.
